I'm Chris Nichols. I help small businesses work out where AI genuinely helps them — and then actually build it.

I've spent the last few years in the middle of this shift: using these tools daily, building with them, and watching a lot of confident advice turn out to be wrong. What I keep running into is a gap. Large companies have people whose job is to figure this out. Small businesses get sold either a $40,000 "transformation" or a webinar, and neither one changes what happens on Monday.

How I work

• I'll tell you when the answer is no. Plenty of jobs are worse with AI in the middle of them. You'll get a straight answer about which of yours those are.
• Small and specific beats big and strategic. The wins that stick are narrow — one irritating process, properly fixed — not a roadmap nobody follows.
• You should be able to run it without me. Anything I build gets handed over in plain language. I'm not trying to make you dependent.
• No jargon. If I can't explain it in terms of your business, I don't understand it well enough yet.

Judge me on the work

I'm early enough in this that I'd rather show you what I've built than hand you a page of logos. The resources section is everything I've figured out and written down — guides, prompts and projects, free and without a sign-up form. It's the most honest picture of how I think that I can give you before we've spoken.
